After hearing from Yates County District Attorney Valerie Gardner and a local man who filed a complaint against her over paperwork in a vehicular homicide case, a judge declared the matter moot.
“The bottom line here is that you have all the letters Mr. Hawley,” Judge Dennis Bender told Bob Hawley Thursday in county court. “This matter is dismissed.”
